Property and Cancellation Policies:

-If you wish to cancel your reservation, you will need to notify us via e-mail at casamorrillo@gmail.com or whatsapp 14 days prior to your arrival date before 2:00 pm to be entitled to a whole refund. 
-If you book within the 14 days cancellation policy, your reservation will be non-refundable. 
However, if we are able to resell your bed/room, we will reimburse you for the corresponding days that were resold, but we clearly can’t guarantee this.
-No Show: If you fail to show up on the arrival date, your booking will be cancelled and you will not be entitled to a refund. If you arrive a day late without informing the hotel, then we may have already resold your bed.
-Cancellations made during the stay will not be reimbursed.

Check-In / Check-Out Policies

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies. 

Check-In: 3:00 PM
Check-Out: 10:00 AM

 
1. Check In & Check Out
 
New arrivals can check in any time after 3 pm (Check-ins that arrive late at night will be shown their bed by security and are required to come to reception first thing the following morning). If you arrive earlier than this we have secure storage for bags until beds are free and you are more than welcome to use all other facilities on offer. Check out time is 10am and this is non negotiable, our staff need ample time to change beds and clean rooms for new arrivals. We will move your bags at 10am if they’re left after 10am and a $10 cleaning fee will be charged. If your flight or transport is not until later in the afternoon or night you also are welcome to store bags and use facilities. We require Passport details and an understanding of the terms and conditions below.
 
 
2. Payments
 
Any payment done via web will not be collected. This is just standard procedure for cancellation policies. At the time we don’t take debit or credit card payments, just cash, due to payment limitations on site. The price for the whole reservation will be collected as a deposit upon arrival. The total amount of the reservation will be charged 14 days prior to arrival, following the terms and conditions of our property and cancellation policies if done via web (booking, airbnb).
 
 
3. Room Allocation
 
If you are booking with friends in one of the dorms please stipulate if you need to be put in the same room and we will endeavor to do so if possible. As we are regularly fully booked this may not be possible. If you are wanting to change beds or swap with another guest you must request to reception staff first as this is often not possible and can cause a lot of problems. 
 
 
4. Guest Behavior and Curfew
 

The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to us. Any guest, who in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local community will be requested to leave the hotel premises and will not be given a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests as well as staff, local community and property.

No parties or gatherings or music allowed after 10pm. It is important to respect this curfew, if we see that a guest is not following it we we will request to leave the hotel with and not entitled to any refund.

 
5. In Room  – Common space Policy
 
Drinking, smoking and eating are not allowed in the rooms. Eating and drinking is allowed in common spaces, we just ask that you do so as cleanly as possible. Every guest is expected to pick up after themselves. Footwear is not allowed in the rooms and we ask that towels are hung on towel racks provided on the bunks. We do not offer towels for the dorms, however they can be rented at reception.

NO COOKING either in rooms or Commons spaces (decks, garden, etc). Please, this is a strict policy and help us keep the space tidy & clean.

NO SMOKING inside the hotel. Under Panameñan law, smoking is only allowed out on the street. The anti-smoking law requires all public places to be 100% smoke free.

 

6. Solar Energy & Wi-Fi

As we are in a location that is as remote as it gets, we’re not on the electrical grid. We run on solar energy. We want to ask you if you could be as conscious as possible when it comes to plugging devices, turning on lights, etc. as we depend on how much sun we get throughout the day.
WE DO HAVE WI-FI! Thanks to Starlink, we do have Wifi in our property. Also, if you want to have data in your phone, without depending on our WiFi, you should buy a Claro SIM Card on your way here (Only carrier with signal in Morrillo).

 

7. No Drugs
 
The penalties attached to drug charges in Panama are very severe. With this said we neither condone nor allow any form of drug use or possession.
 
 
8. Personal Property
 
It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. We accept no liability for the loss, theft or damage to guests property. Locks are provided in the room and keys will be given from reception. Clothing or personal items left at the premises will be kept for a fortnight then if not reclaimed or notified the property will be donated to Charity. 
 
 
9. Damage to Property
 

Guests are expected to reimburse Casa Morrillo for any damage caused by inappropriate behavior during their stay. 

 

10. Liability
 

Except in relation to death or personal injury caused by Casa Morrillo’s negligence, Casa Morrillo’s liability remains, at all times, limited to the value of the services booked. As a provider of accommodation, Casa Morrillo places personal safety and wellbeing atop our list of concerns. However, Casa Morrillo will not be in any way liable for any injury or incident caused by guest negligence, or situations in which we cannot control.

 

11. Security

All Casa Morrillo guests must be over the age of 18. This is to ensure the safety of the child and experience of our guests. Friends of guests are also not allowed to bring food or drink from the outside and are the responsibility of the guest who has invited them. 

 

12. Pets allowed
